Separation Divorce

A separation divorce in Pennsylvania is a type of uncontested divorce where both spouses agree to the divorce, have been separated for at least one year (even if still living together), and both agree to file an affidavit stating the marriage is irrevocably broken. You or your spouse must reside in Pennsylvania or have lived there within the last six months.

This type of divorce can be finalized in 60-90 days, significantly quicker than a Mutual Consent divorce, as it does not require a mandatory 90-day waiting period.
